My Eyes Are Pleading With Me To Finish All The Collation Work . . . And Soon!

Samuel Prideaux Tregelles wrote these words in his An Account of the Printed Text of the Greek New Testament (1854): "In all this, the condition of my eyes, after collations and trying study of several years, has retarded me in a manner which I can hardly describe" (170). Few have collated more than he.

Samuel, I'm sure your eyes hurt far worse than mine. But I feel your pain.
