Another Post On The Biblical Languages

Michael Jones posted yesterday about using Greek and Hebrew in the pulpit. Definitely check out his entry "Using Greek and Hebrew in the Pulpit." I'd like to share his recommendations here and you can read the "meat" over at his blog:
  1. Never use the Greek or Hebrew word in the pulpit.
  2. Never use technical terms in the pulpit.
  3. If there's another translation that translates something in the way you think is correct, then cite that translation.
  4. Don't be afraid to say when the translation or exegesis is hard.
  5. Whatever you do, don't make more of yourself than you ought.
Well-said, Michael. Excellent post!
